You've certainly got some stock there but it looks great on display rather than sitting in boxes.  What bit I have, sits in boxes and I wonder if that's one of the reasons I'm so slow at doing any building - that and spending too much time on here !!!:hmm

Keep sending the photos - they're an inspiration to us all.

Building display cabinets is not that difficult, I had all the oak milled at a local lumber yard. Once I had all the wood stained and varnished  I then assembled it as a cabinet.  The most difficult part was hanging it on the wall (Oak is heavy).  For the longest time all my stuff was in tool boxes, great  for taking stock to shows, but not for displaying.  I have over 50 locomotives and tons of rolling stock that range from the late 50's era to the 90's.

The reason why I decided to model from the late 50's, to the early 70's is that I didnt have to change the railway infrastructure when I change era's.  All I do for the 50's is have less traffic on the road and then when I model the 70's the road is more crowded with traffic.  I have also change a few buildings and plan to make some interchangble buildings for the city.  For example a building being demolished and a newer building in its place for each era.

I back down stairs to start working on the city so you will see more photos of that project plus the row houses will be finished soon.

Just received from the folks at Hattons my new HST I already had the MK3's and an old HST from Hornby but it couldn't haul the set around my new layout.  The gradients were just too steep

I was thinking that a video would be good, I am charging my video camera and I will go play on my computer to figure out how to do just that.  If you have any guidance I would appreciate it.
