Bad news!
Most of the pictures I have used in my layout thread (and others) now fail to apear in my posts.
Luckily I still have all the images on my own PC so have not lost anything.
I could use my own pwp pages to host the pictures but, I want to save space.
So, the bottom line is, anyone browsing my layout thread be warned, a lot of pictures will be missing until I find an alternitive host site.

It may be time to start the gallery for members Bob
I may even look at putting mine on my servers as photobucket could go down just as easily.

Basically it would seem that misinformation has been posted to the effect that Fotopic (the business) has gone into liquidation (which is correct but not recent) and this has been linked to the current unavailability of Fotopic.net (the website) which was sold to and remains owned by another, and perfectly solvent, company.

I just hope that the site comes back up again, otherwise I'll have to reload all the images I've used in my various threads to my own server or another site such as flickr.
Wait and see I think.

Sometimes it's a bit slow to copy from my files but I can live with that.

Plus your computer needs to be online 24/7 and 365 days a year.
Also you require a static IP address which they will charge extra for
You only really need a bit of server space on the net nowadays its a cheap as chips.
