Ipads are very handy but I havent mastered copying and pasting.
While on the laptop I took the precaution of checking the Pannier decoders…..I actually have some Lenz Silver as well as Standards but that may be because I chipped them before the Standard came out……….the performance is the same. If its any help the CV settings I use are:
Cv 2 2 Cv5 120 Cv 6 40
Here is the link

I have used a variety of decoders since I started 8 years ago but for the past few years I only buy Lenz……a tad more expensive but worth it
Hope this helps
Regards

Not sure if you used my settings but I forgot to mention that I set Cv 3 & 4 to virtually zero because RR & co determines acceleration and braking depending on the weight of the train it is hauling……..should may need to tweek yours

I've used a TCS DP2X-UK in most of my panniers. They run really well and it's a 'cheaper' reliable option.

Had one in my Single Wheeler and took it out to put in my Hornby Railroad Class 31, works great in both.

Not sure if you want to prolong this Ron……..you have made your choice and sound as though you are happy with it.There's a big thread on RMWeb and it seems most people have changed they're TCS decoders for Lenz decoders??
Like the idea of a wireless decoder though!
Cheers
Ron
But if it helps to confirm your choice and to explain my initial recommendation……I have a number of TCS decoders bought when I first started with DCC. They still perform ok but I found it took longer to programme them to achieve a nice smooth curve and I found it mpossible to eliminate a noticeable spike around speed step 15. Max has also commented about the same phenomena.
I found Lenz to be more consistent and easier to programme so I only buy them now. I switched my TCS decoders from any locos where absolute precision was required to less critical locos.
Kind Regards
John
