As most home printers will not print heavy card, I print to vinyl or paper A4 label stock then stick that to card, much cheaper than buying Metcalfe brick or stone sheets, plus you can print a load of different brick, tile and stone from Scalescenes. Once stuck onto card you then send it through your plotter cutter. (Mine's a Zing also)
I've done window frames by printing plain colour to vinyl(or bands of different colours) then feeding it through the plotter cutter.
The window frames I stick to transparency sheet, I also print out sheets of doors and stick them on to thin or medium card.
I then build the model in a similar manner to a Metcalfe kit, cutting windows from the transparency sheet carrying the vinyl frames, folding back door openings so the door is recessed a bit.
