Great photos, Campaman.

I particularly like the second one showing the overall view of the layout; it looks grand.

Thanks for the pictures.  I love the atmospheric final one with the lone wagon and the moody backdrop.

I notice a boat in one of the shots - can you post some details as I think a wharf always adds operational interest but good boats are hard to find in 4mm.

Many thanks

Hi

Its a scratchbuilt Clyde Puffer, well my take on one.

Made mainly from Card

I have just built the scalescenes kit and it makes up into a nice model, I just need to solder up some rear railings for it from some wire like I did for the scratch one.

Thanks.

It just proves that card is not just for buildings.

I started off many years ago making scratchbuilt card coach sides and model buses. They were a little rough, but I was only a teenager at that time.

Unfortunately it looks like the chip has gone missing in the mail, either lost or pilfered.

So the Class 24 will have to remain un-chipped and out of the photographs for now.

Probably the mail Andy.

I ordered two items from Track Shack on consecutive days a couple of weeks ago, the second order came the following day, but the first took nearly a week.

Probably went via Outer Mongolia

Not sure where is has been for nearly two weeks but the chip turned up yesterday, so the 24 will be chipped after all.

Maybe second class mail now takes 10-14 days :-)
