Hi

I'm building a model based upon Exeter St. Davids and including Dawlish and Ilfracombe stations. It is set in the 1930s but with licence to run anything I want, including my 7 year old son's First Great Western HST and anything else that fits from the modern era (once I get a Bachmann class 159 at a decent price of ebay for him!).

For further information on the plan, see 'Plan of the Month' in Railway Modeller earlier this year (March edition). Current status is that I've laid half the track in Exeter plus the stretch around to Cowley Bridge Junction and the approaches to the Paddington fiddleyard. I've also laid some track through Dawlish station.

Will publish some photos / plan in due course if anyone shows interest...

Peter

Hi Peter, welcome to the forum.

As a western region man I would be very happy if you posted some photos and a plan. I'm currently building a new layout so nothing much to show you of my work as yet.

More than interested Peter as I´m sure are many others. The forum thrives on pictures and members progress with their layouts.

Welcome from France Peter. :cheers

Let me explain how it works. :hmm  You post and then we decide if it's interesting.  If it's got wheels and it includes the letters "T - A - R - I - N" in any order whatsoever, we'll be interested. :doublethumb

Unfortunately, I no longer get RM so you'll just have to post that plan.

Hi Peter

Awarm welcome from Nottingham.

I'm looking forward to seeing your layout because I used to live near Ilfracombe (between Barnstaple and Braunton)
