That's one fine looking boat and very reasonably priced too. Good work John.

Outstanding card model - at a fraction of the cost of a styrene equivalent. Good move, John![]() (Only one problem: Unlike my old Airfix and Revell kits I don't think this one would float in the bath... ![]() ![]() ____________________ Tim. rector wrote:Outstanding card model - at a fraction of the cost of a styrene equivalent. Good move, John I could never get mine to float Tim they would always capsize! So the air rifle torpedo always cosigned them to Davy Jones locker sooner rather than later. ![]() ____________________ Regards Pete. Unless they were filled, the first shot sank them almost instantly. ____________________ 'Petermac |

Many thanks for the comments, I really enjoyed designing this one and am planning to add a few other ship kits to my range including a Clyde puffer (of course), a small feeder container ship and a passenger ferry. I also found this site in the US that seems to have a good range of HO and N deck fittings that could be useful: http://seaportmodelworks.com/ Happy modelling! ____________________ John Wiffen Graphic Designer Scalescenes.com |
