Well, I've thrown my metaphorical hat into the ring and requested an application form.

The hardest part was choosing the correct size box of The Ambassador's favourites, but, once purchased, the contents of the box seemed to disappear all on their own...

The theme for this year's comp is 'Seen at the Station'. After much musing, I've come up with a small scene which is partly inside the station building, and partly on the platform.

The inside will consist of the ticket hall, and the ticket office, including the desks and other furniture to be found in such a room. The outside will be a very short section of platform edge, plus room for a trolley of suitcases and other platform adornments.

Photos later.

No prizes for guessing the origins of the station building.

Yup!  I've tried it out with MEK and cement :thumbs I cut one into 'sheets' with the 10" bench saw and a fine blade[:shock::shock::shock::shock:] then used my Doofer cutter to cut smooth straight lines.
