Now as luck would have it, I'll still be in UK that weekend.  Returning here on the Monday evening from Hull to Zeebrugge.

I wonder if I could make it up there.................:roll::roll:

Hello Peter,
That would be great if you could manage to fit in a visit. We could all then come to a considered opinion as to whether you are "as bad" as we were told you were, or, "not as good" as we hoped you would be. At least there wouldn't be doubts anymore.:lol:  Hope you can make-it on the Sunday. If the Saturday suits you better please advise,
Kind Regards,
Michael Thornberry.

PS:- Will you be visiting Family in Yorkshire?

That's what I was thinking Dave although I've already got a car load of stuff to bring back for SWMBO and, as it's a little soft-top (I'm actually getting a new hood fitted), there won't be much spare room.

I'm almost sure I'll be able to manage one of the days.

Not on your life Derek !!  This one's for me plus, unbelievably, she's still got a few left.  Not many but enough to get me off the hook.  Also, room is a problem this time.  I took a "G" gauge Shay back last time for repair and Bachmann have sent it to my brother for me to bring back.  That's going to fill the passenger seat, my suitcase in the boot and the odd "OO" gauge trinket behind the seats and I'm full up !!!  It's only an MX5 this trip.

I'm sure I've posted some before Max.  I'll have a look and, if not, I'll take some more when I get it home.

It's had the trucks replaced - broken gears - and is now officially "an expensive locomotive" !!!!

Now i wonder if he has a G scale layout in his back yard :hmm, why else get it fixed if he has no where to run it hey :thumbs

Good show too....

Good to meet up with you guys today. Beat me with the pics, Owen. I'll see if I've got any more you might have missed! Reassuring to find the YMR members do really exist and aren't a virtual figment of Bob's imagination after all.

Cheers Owen carn't belive I missed the trams again ! The big layout with the impresive bridges was a ho american switching layout similar to Alans. The realy nice N gauge one that was behind us was still having balast applied on fri night ! Kirby Stephen was the one with the deltic. :thumbs

A great day and good to meet both "old friends" and new ones. :cheers

Some good layouts there - like Mojo, I'll see if  I've got anything different when I get home although I can see that one of Owen's is due for immediate deletion..........................:roll::roll::roll:  'Onest Guv, I never touched a drop !!!

I came up the A19 from York Brian so could easily have picked you up as well - wish you'd said.

Must go now to try to squeeze everything into the little car for the overnight ferry back home.  I'm not at all sure it will all fit in and leave me room to drive - it's only a 2-seater !!! :hmm

A few more to add to the collection. You've seen it before but it's worth seeing again. How does he fit it all in?

The business side.

Some N gauge.

Some O gauge.

Ian Futers' "Ullapool" in O

Some nice structure modelling.

As an aside I came across a trade stand called Layouts4U and bought some very nice 3v LED lights on lamp posts at 6 for £5.99p and some double lamps on lamp posts at 6 for £10. Their site is well worth looking at-http://www.layouts4u.net. I couldn't see it in the forum retailers' index but judging by the quality and their prices, compared with some of the other firms, they're worth a looksee. Once I've got some of the lamps installed on Bradford Wheregate I'll post some photos.
