That looks really convincing. Well done. Not easy in N!

Just a suggestion; perhaps kit-bashing projects could have their own section? It isn't pure 'scratchbuilding' within the meaning of the term - and I'm not knocking it for that - but members looking for 'kit-bashed' projects would have somewhere to look for help and inspiration, i.e. someone who has already kit-bashed the same kit they have in mind. I know that many modellers like to kit-bash, and I've done it myself many times so I'm not detracting in any way from the quality of this project, just suggesting how we might better use our resources.

Perhaps Bob or Jeff can look at that when they pop in

Oops! I always seem to be excusing myself to you, Tim.

I suppose it will be OK because you are a Wrecktor.

New section on kitbashing, it's just under Scratchbuilding. If it doesn't get busy or if it's not looking worth while for the space it takes up then there's an easy answer. Off at the legs.

In that case, this thread has been moved to Kit-bashing.

It would be helpful if a definition of 'kit bashing' was available.
I suppose any deviation from the instructions in the box would qualify.
If one uses a component from a kit in scratchbuilding does that make it kit bashing?

DD, for some reason I can never open the links to pictures that you put in your threads. I always get a little note telling me I do not have permission to open the file. It tells me to log on, even though I already am. Logging of and back on again does not help, nor does clearing cookies, files or history. It is only those links, all other pictures on the forum work OK :hmmf

So I can't view the church

Sorry about that, Bob.
I just use the attachment facility to load the pic. from my desktop.

If you go to my website as below it will give you most of my pics. although not the 2nd bashed church.

In the meantime, I'll host the pic. through Photobucket or ImageCave and give you your own viewing!
Wait one.
