A couple of great pics Owen. The guy that im chatting to in the wheelchair realy loved the layout as from his perspective he was eye level to the trains although he could also see what was happening on the layout via the cctv camera that I had rigged up that looked down from the gantry above. I must have chatted to him for about half an hour before you got there and TBH after all the teathing problems yesterday it was nice to be able to take the time to chat to people. The second pic realy shows off the new fiddle yards in opperation with a rake of containers + AC loco stabled in the foreground, a central trains class 150 DMU entering the layout in the middle and you can just make out a rake of blue/grey air cons that had just arrived on the rear line. Just below the green 150 DMU is a breif discription of the module and also the plans of the YMR setup and how Potters lane fits in. There was a lot of intrest in the september show and even a few requests if the YMR set up could come north so maybe sometime in the future perhaps ??  As you can see we have a few people being entertained by the intensive service that we managed to achive today although judging by my expression I think im shouting instructions to Nigel who was driving from the other end.  For those intrested in old cars the one in the wagon behind me was the first car to drive up the M1 motorway whilst it was still under construction! All in all a very enjoyable day playing trains. :thumbs

Nice videos Owen

Good to see N gauge layouts with the detail levels they have achieved now model wise its possible to produce some pretty stunning looking layouts now in a small space.

But one as to bear in mind the personal eyesight restrictions

Brian

Very true - I'm almost on your doorstep.  You needn't be stuck for a show that you really want to go to.

I thought you were working, not enjoying yourself ?
it was a swap meet with some exhibition stands, so fairly interesting,I picked up some bargains in the
small parts dept, stuff you would have to pay loads of postage for, thats why I went
had a good day with Brian & mrs hoping to go to wynyard next.
