ahh, the first lot of pics from the 13th (today) are familiar.
Oh yer, it was that layout at the sydney model railway exhibition :D That was a cool layout. Do you perhaps have any pics of the Mega relasitc layout? It was in a small back room, after you go into a smaller room from the main hall, which then goes into yet another smaller room and was in a glass/plastic box. Your pictures turned out better then mine, as my lens doesnt seem to focus very well on manual settings now :/

Loads of excellent modelling!

I hope the artist doesn't step back too far to admire his work.

Thanks for sharing these.

Two more - the layout is 31 x 30 ft, multidecked & is based on Sydney -Goulbourn, NSW.   300 plus points required, so far the young owner has made 107 & he thinks it will take 45 minutes real time to travel at a scale 30mph from one end to the other.

This shows the two island penisulas & the width of each - at least 5ft across at the ends.

the next shows what will be the main engine terminal

The layout will be huge bl...dy mungous/ BIG in other words:exclam  DCC of course.

The next lot of photos will be the layout owned by the father of the young owner as above.

If I could have an end-to-end like that I'd gladly part with the roundy-roundy.

That is some layout!  Any layout that takes 45 minutes to get from one end to the other is going to be impressive.
