I am sure that most of you have looked at this layout, it is by John Wiffen, of Scalescenes fame, but this is his layout, just brilliant. http://scalescenes.com/southoakroad/ Enjoy it. |

I know that he should be able to work with his own papers, but apart from our own Doof, I don't remember seeing such quality work, the photo's of under the bridge, show a real high standard of modelling, and just what you can achieve with a bit of thought. The platform with all the detailing that he has put into it, for me has only been beating by Jim's great little layout, do you think he sends it out for shows ! |

I have used scalescenes arches on Blossom Hill ,But john has made a much better job of it than i have. This is a great site because it may make some of us try a little harder. I suppose patience is a virtue in this lark. ![]() ____________________ reg |

I notice that further down the topic he has very kindly linked a hi-res version of two cloud-scape backscene for anyone to use. Very good, not surprisingly, how to's for modelling using his scalescenes, and other, material too. Good link, thanks. ____________________ Marty N Gauge, GWR West Wales Newcastle Emlyn Layout.
