Figures:
I've seen elsewhere that someone describes amputations connected with cab personnel.
I 'operate' in the same way.
Another reason why I prefer the 'soapy' texture of Dapol type figures.

Best tip: When amputating, say, a head, keep in mind the next stage, ie: what is going to be attached to the shoulders or to what the head is going to be attached.
This will save multiple cuts.

This also answers another query elsewhere: Try attaching a Preiser head to a Dapol figure and see the difference in proportion.

Just got to do my sums now.

Sum signs.
Sum painting.
Sum scatter.
Sum weathering.

All this talk is neither "sum(mat) nor nowt.:cool:

Let the guy get on with more additions to the diorama - going off at a tangent just multiplies the errors and even a fraction out could equal total disaster.

Are you going to have a pile of logs under the steps Peter or is that completely out of the equation. ?

The pictures are great but you are really asking for it with your added sums. Like the extra spaces too.

I have been asked what the signs say on this diorama:

Our machines are for HIRE
But our prices are LOWER

Landscaping Mountains?
Try our Decking and Fountains.

Mortar in bags.
Full range of flags.

Want a nice view?
We'll give you that too.

Need a big digger?
Our diggers are bigger.

Need a spade?
Ours are well made.

Roof Garden.

Fawcett (with a hard C) & Diggett.

Still not finished.

Can you not reach it through the URL here, Don?

(Although the site is still a work in progress - I'm hoping Bob will give me a few tips when he returns from his hols.)
