Frank great to see another narrow gauge layout being born on the forum. It is a sensible choice to do 7mm much easier on the eyes 4mm is far harder to work on. You have made a great start with the loco and the wagon Look forward to hearing more plans about the layout cheers brian |

Thats coming on a treat frank Thats the beauty of 7mm it allows you to do details you would never consider trying on 4mm she will be a lovely little engine and the small tension locks are probably a very good choice as couplers cheers Brian |

Just a thought..............would the crew share the cab with the safety valves? Maybe in the event of a blow off they'd get 'poached'? Frank - includes some brass extention tubes which fit on top of the safety valves and vent the steam though the roof. Frank, thank you for that, the above makes things a lot clearer, too! Isn't 'Alice' cute? Doug ____________________ 'You may share the labours of the great, but you will not share the spoil...' Hi. I have always had a soft spot for 7mm narrow gauge and maybe oneday I will give it a go. That engine looks really good and the pictures of the build really do show how easily something can be converted. I love the looks of it, it really does capture the feel of an UK engine. Missy ![]() |

We had someone killed on Steam Ranger a couple of years back when the steam plug blew out. That was in the cab as well.
