I had no idea such a place existed - but I love it!

Always misinterpreted when you hear it used now but it is a valid word; refer here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vomitorium.

They do exist as misinterpreted,  I encountered, but I hasten to add did not need to use, one in the gents loo of a hotel in Germany :thud

Just been advised that the container with our signal boxes on has been impounded by customs in China!  This can delay it by two or three weeks.

I am told that at this time of year customs checks rise dramatically in China, and it is because they charge a storage fee for the time they are held.  Anyone who wonders why models can be delayed for no apparant reason at short notice - this is one of those reasons!

If it misses the boat that it was booked on that will further delay it...

Chris, this is a catastrophe. The signal box is going on my new layout for the show (along with the well tank & clay wagons) so do the Chinese realise how important it is? Give em hell!.

Les, your words were fowarded to the Chinese who now understand the importance of it all!  It was released from customs yesterday but has missed the boat.  A new booking has been made for next week.  I guess about 6 weeks before it arrives here.

I knew that would have them quaking in their boots Chris. :brickwall

They needn't think I'd stop short of laying down a resolution at the UN either.
