Great article Doug thank you for posting it........as always lots of good tips and amazing attention to detail. I just wish I had read it before embarking on my recent people painting exercise......not that the advice about lint free cloth would have helped.....our latest dog sheds like there is no tomorrow....despite him never going near the train room his hairs migrate down there in quantity...grrr

Hi Douglas,

Some nice pointers there. Which prompted me to start searching for some standing/seated/railway staff Edwardian figures. Found some packs of 10 in pewter, so painting will start when the get here.
