Bonjour Chris and welcome to the forum from another who changed lifestyle to enjoy more of France.

We're always happy to help, so have a mooch about and come and tell us more of your railway soon.

Bill

Hi Chris, and welcome.  I was a complete newbie too..... other than my boyhood layout on the dining table.  But I have learned a lot through YMRC and know that I can still ask even the dumbest question and get timely and helpful advice, so make the most of it and share your progress.

Regards

Michael

Welcome from this side of the sleave,
Nobody is an expert, we are all learning, just at a different level from each other.

Welcome Chris.

Not sure about the "dark" side of the British Channel - I thought this was the sunny side ....................  Where are you in France ?  There are already a few of us trying to get to grips with Napoleonic law - maybe we might eventually equal the Aussies in number ..........

You're certainly in the right place for learning how to make things tick - there's a wealth of knowledge and experience on here from some very skilled modellers (myself absolutely excluded !) and all offered totally free of charge.

It's a great place to be so settle in, have a look around then tell / show us what you're up to with your "toys".  Wives simply don't understand !!
