Hello to everyone,
It has been many years since I had a layout as a youngster.

Now in early retirement, I have started to build a nostalgic new layout.

It is a new learning curve for me but hopefully an enjoyable one.

I am sure to have a few questions as I get my head around this new hobby.

Thank you for letting me join you all.

Best Wishes
Steve

Hi Steve and a warm welcome from the sunny Loire Vally, where the Great Western Railway is strong and healthy.

Enjoy the forum and ask all the questions you need. You'll find a good reference section here on the forum to help get you going.

Much has changed since your younger years, but the fun is just as strong as ever.

Happy modelling and come tell us more of your plans when you're ready.

Best wishes,

Bill

Hello Steve,
Welcome to the club, from your home town!

If you fancy a bit more 'hands on' help, or even just the company of
like-minded loonies(!), I'm in the local club Stevenage & District MRC.
drop me a PM if you want more info.

Jeff

A warm welcome Steve.

I am a returning modeller too, with a nostalgic layout developing slowly.

There is a wealth of information here and a lot of modellers willing to answer questions great and small and offer practical advice.  And we all enjoy seeing the work of others, so don't hold back.

Regards

Michael
