To all you modellers out there, I thought I'd better introduce myself!

Been modelling for 30 years plus! Current project which is just about to get off the drawing board onto the baseboard is a OO layout based on the lines in the 'Potteries' in the mid 1920's. Plenty of industrial locomotives plying their trade as well as those of the LMS (including several North Staffs locos). layout is about 12 ft x 1.25 ft.

Also, involved, at my local Club, with a layout based on a joint LMS/GWR line in Shropshire during the early days of WWII.
I look forward to relaying the ongoing construction of both  these projects on this forum.

Best Wishes

Bruce

Hello Bruce and welcome.

I like the sound of your 1920s Potteries layout and the mention of green wet rusty things, so will look out for your further news.

Best,

Bill

Thanks for the welcome Bill, and interest in the project! Still in 'bare baseboard' stage at the moment, but the incentive to report its progress will mean work will progress at a decent pace!

With 30 years in the hobby, still learning myself. Have always been a bit old school, but intend on using a few more modern techniques from now on!!
