Hi All.  Since my return to model railways and the realisation that my room size didn’t match my Railway empire dreams I have been faffing around with Shunting Puzzles. I never gave a thought to a runround, no need, until now.But now I have squeezed in a single track branch line, it has been pointed out that I require a runround.
The problem being dimensions? I can squeeze in the runround for a one or two coach train and an 0-6-0 or similar size Loco, on the headshunt, but, anything longer I would struggle, unless I either set up the “ third “ bench? and really make the room crowded, or fit a “ Runround Cassette “ hanging off the end of the baseboard??
Best wishes Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Push/pull locomotives and coaches do not need run arounds. Run arounds are expensive in real estate, real and model. Search [push pull Southern Region]. Not the brackets. Hornby have a push pull M7. A small turntable is an option .

Hi Nigel. Thank you for your reply.  I have a Hornby M7 and the Maunsell Set. But, in a series of videos of Kent branch lines occasionally a fitted Loco wasn’t available and they had to run round the train. I had seen a small turntable at the end of a.platform at one “ online “ location .  Best wishes Kevin
