How many of us doing these puzzles also have the Jigsaw 2 software to make our own puzzles? ~ I've made and done 10 in the last 2 days!

I'm wondering if AVG poking it's oar in may put some people off downloading, AVG doesn't take any notice of the alternative .PZP file format, plus the PZP files are much smaller; if enough of us have the software, would it be worth having the files in both .EXE and .PZP? (or just .PZP if we all have the software)

The software is available at
https://www.tibosoftware.com/jigsaw-puzzle.htm

Unfortunately it's not free, however the Entry level  is fully functional and only $9.99; the more expensive versions only have additional sample puzzles.  Make your own puzzles from any image , a pleasant way of wasteing passing time.

Another advantage of having the software is that you can adjust the number and shape of pieces; depending on your screen size and eyesight you might prefer more or less pieces. (Unless the puzzle is sent as a surprise package!)

Hi Mike

I know that this sounds like heresy, but . . .

I've got rid of all my 'corporate" virus protection software, and all I use now is the one which comes with Windows 10.

I've had Avast, AVG, Norton and Malwarebytes - just to name a few; and they have all had issues.

Since changing to the W 10 software, no other stuff is affected.

My Mozilla Thunderbird email pack still has its built in virus protection, but that's easily over ridden.

Cheers

I did the same Max.

I had a "paid for" version of AVG until we closed our gite business,  Now I just use Windows "Security Essentials".  I have no idea how good it is but this computer still works as it did before plus, I'm saving some cash to boot.

I do occasionally get an e-mail from AVG saying how much they miss me ..............................

I'm not too worried about  AVG,  just like the options available  on the PZP files, I always convert mine, just thought it might kill 2 birds with one stone.

Sorry to hear that Alan - don't worry about the puzzle - you have other, more important things to do just now.

Hope everything works out well in the end.

Would you like me to post one a week until you're back in circulation?
