Easy to fit, the speaker went in the very front of the boiler under the chimney.

Sounds good to me and something I may well follow you with. What speaker did you use please?

Hope your shed forman picks up that displaced handrail next time it goes in for cleaning!

Thank you.

I'm starting to dabble in sound with stuff from YouChoos for a Dean Goods just ordered. This could get expensive quickly...Part of me, the sensible part, hopes I don't like as I am modelling a main line and thus have a reasonably big loco fleet.

Alas that is just what I thought, BUT once I had a sound loco up and running I was smitten.

I did have 24 loco's, now I only have 12 but they are all sound chipped, the others were sold (most of which were just a 2nd of the same engine type, eg I had two Class 22's) so to sound up my remaining small 'fleet' has only cost me £200 rather than £1200.

Wiring speakers in Parallel should give best results, plus being new to using a soldering Iron I tend not to get it any where near tiny joining points!
