High, just bought 12 yards of peco 12mm 75 track to increase my TT layout. This is HOM. My lady wife would like a narrow gauge line instead, so we looked at availability. My understanding was that Egger Bahn, was HOe, but many for sale on Ebay, say HOe/m. Do they adjust or what.. If not, what brand will run on HOm thanks. john | |||||||||

Hi John I find these gauges/scales very confusing, but the wiki is quite good... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_transport_modelling_scales I may be wrong (often am) but I think HOe is 9mm (N gauge) Track and HOm is a European scale/gauge using 12mm (TT) track. HOe is therefore similar to UK 009. Egger Bahn states they are HOn30 (whatever that is) and use 9mm track  Had a quick search on HOm and BEMO seem to be one make. http://www.eurorailhobbies.com/bemo.asp http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/bemo-hom https://railsofsheffield.com/search/search-results.aspx?searchTerm=bemo Don't look particularly cheap though. hi, ED, thanks. Found Bemo, and needed a chair, as not cheap. Egger Bahn on ebay france, where i live, shows HOe, or HOm, so i wondered whether they adjusted, As i have all these gauges, will buy a cheap Egger and have a look. Also, other continental TT makes about. Got the track for a steal. as guy mistakenly bought it for 00. john | |||||||||

ED, It appears i have choice of Bemo, or tillig, neither of which are cheap. As you indicated, Egger Bahn, n gauge, which is a pity, as much much cheaper. Will lay the track and run my existing TT triang trains, pro tem, whilst keeping an eye on ebay france. john | |||||||||

Hi All, maybe I can help you? Popular Narrow Gauges in 3,5 mm H0 Scale of 1:87 are: H0m --> 12 mm --> similar to TT Gauge -> Meter- and Kapegauge H0n3 --> 10,5 mm -> 3' ft. Gauge USA H0n3Z --> 10,5 mm Cograil -> Swiss H0e/H0n30/H0n2,5 --> 9 mm similar to N Gauge -> All prototypes from 750 mm to 900 mm Gauges H0f --> 6,5 mm -> similar to Z Gauge all prototypes from 500 mm to 700 mm Gauges The british 00-9 in 4 mm Scle reflecting all prototypes from 500 mm to 900 mm Gauges. It is a little worrying or confusing sometimes. About the old Eggerbahn equipment sold by eBay, it gives three Periods of these fine models. 1rst period, when Eggerbahn managed their own distribution of the models. 2nd period, when Eggerbahn and the french Joueff made a cooperation together from the mid 1980's until mid 1990's only one decade. 3rd period, when Eggerbahn models became highpriced and made from a swiss company.
