Shed Masters office I have to make some drain pipes  I wanted a sand house, so here is my effort.  Well That's abot all for now... |

Very nice. Your sandhouse is a lot fancier-looking than the one I'm building. Regarding drainpipes, do you have those teeny, really thin coffee straws in the UK? They're a nice cheap source of small plastic tubes. ____________________ My workbench, AKA an exercise in insanity

They had a sand house attached to the Cricklewood Roundhouse when I worked there as a lad. It was massive and always warm and cosy in the winter where most of the loco cleaners slept all day ! Also, and by way of initiation, you had to swim the whole length of an inspection pit in the Roundhouse flooded in vile, slimy, greasy water. Imagine H&S allowing that today ! Anyway, you're doing a very nice job. |

Mm, I don't know.. I detailed the interior insert of one of my Bachmann 57' coaches (adapting scans of a Kitmaster compo interior) and I could tell the difference even while looking at it from my bed across the room.

I know Pendon is fully fitted internally, but you really can't see much inside a model building, unless you put lights in it and I tend to agree with the words of my old employer, Mike Karslake, "I make models, not bloody table lamps!" A bit brusque, but Mike did love to litigate. The worry killed him in the end. I'll put a bit of clobber inside a biggish window, but no further in. Coaches are different as they have so many windows. Likewise, a shop window needs to be dressed, but an office with tiny windows? I don't see the point. Nice work, by the way. An unusual end wall. Reminds me of some of the buildings on the canals through Birmingham.
