The Dundee show is next weekend. :hmm Anyone going?

I've spoken to Paul ...... Who is going and the shout is out for Matt via this post. Maaaaaaaaaaatt. Are ye gaun.

If there is anyone else thinking of going. Scream out. It will be the Sunday for myself. Saturday is a no go for me I'm sure.

It won't be much of a day for shinnies but the train fare, a burger, a beer or two ( after ) and maybe the odd bargain if it can be found will be affordable for me.

Any takers.

Had to pause for a moment there. Thought I was haluc .....haloos ....... Imagining things.

We'll need to look at the train times and get sorted out. Paul said he could pick us up from the station then it's a twenty minute walk from his hoose.

That's our starting point. I'll have a look at train timetables from Haymarket and come back to you. Now remember, big overcoat with false pockets and your best training shoes.

Cheers

Hi Toto.
Did you get your dates mixed up??? I thought you were going to the Warley show, then just noticed your posts about Dundee! I can understand your choosing a 'local' show over the Warley one not least on grounds of cost (More beer/loco tokens for a local show). I did end up buying the NRM "Deltic" after deliberating, seeing as I model the Southern region, and to my knowledge, it never ran there, but what the heck, just call it modellers artistic licence!!!

Hi Keith,

You had me double checking the dates there. I would get that date mixed up. I've been looking forward to this for ages. YMRC en masse. Done a little advertising today as we explained why was taking a photo of me buying a loco.

The stand owner got the wrong end of the stick. He thought that maybe it was some sort of special occasion me buying a loco until Paul explained my affection foe shinnies. We introduced the YMRC to him. I wouldn't be too surprised if he maybe looks us up.

Anyway,

See you at the show.

Cheers

Toto
