Hello all
I just wanted to give you the initial info about our show this year in Minehead, Somerset.
Last year's show was our most successful ever and this year we will have around 14 high quality working layouts plus demonstrations and a wide variety of trade stands. They will be selling most items you may need - tools, electrics, books, baseboards & sundries, bits & pieces, scenics, plus 2mm, 4mm & 7mm items of rolling stock, locos - both new and secondhand.
Our terrific venue will again be The Minehead Eye (TA24 5BJ), which is bright, modern and disabled friendly and is adjacent to Minehead stationn right on the seafront. There will be hot/cold food & drink all day plus there is parking right outside and free parking in surrounding roads.
The WSR is holding its annual Steam Fayre on the same week-end so why not make a short break of it and enjoy both in this beautiful corner of England?
Hope to see some of you there!
Best to all

I wondered how long it would take you to spot that.......(To quote Captain Mainwaring). But seriously folks.

Sorry about that!!!
The date this year is Saturday 1st August and the opening times are: 10.00am to 4.30pm.

I shall now travel to France via Kent to see if we can find an alternative venue for 2016..........

Hi everyone
Just an update on a couple of points if I may.
Firstly, the Great Western Society have kindly agreed to attend this year on the day.
Second, we will have a little additional space this year and the plan is to  feature a "micro-layout" room. This is in addition to our usual large hall.
Best to all
