Hi Jeff. Thank you for your reply. I think the larger model Loco makers seem to be living off their past reputation. It is as if they just " Throw together anything that suits themselves " as with the Bachmann 64xx and the "Right Angled" Decoder, Nigel put his case for "Ripping the Original One out" and maybe I'll regret not being in possession of the necessary skills and experience , when poor electrical conductivity? gets the better of it. It is like having a loose fitting wall socket at home, but that is a "piece of cake" to put in order, frowned upon by bureaucrats , and electricians alike. I know how to do that job, but I rather not cut corners. All the best. Kevin ____________________ Staying on the thread Kevin. |

I am really impressed with the sound of my DEMU's and if I fancied getting a DMU I would consider the sound element.I don't think that it would work with electric Loco 's or EMU's though. All the best. Kevin Bit expensive Kevin, maybe one day. Ed ____________________ Engineers just love to change things |
