This is the layout Melton MRC showed at the Sunshine MRC exhibition here in Melbourne where most of the base board and trackwork and buildings were constructed in recycled materials, similar to the "build a layout in a few hours" on my website. The layout was a teaching tool to a number of newer members and was about 4 or 5 months work as such. A few of the buildings were only completed in the days before the show and one was done to show some other displayers at the show with the use of foam core, hence some lack of painting. That looks really good, Trevor. Quite an achievement with the materials available. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the Sunshine exhibition, but if you are going to Caulfield, I'll be there on the Saturday; drop over to the BRMA stand to say hello.  |
