Best of luck with your 2nd run at the project Robyn.
It seems most of us have to swing the axe untill we achieve what we want.
Regards,
Derek.

That,s a shame Robyn , But then you need to be happy with the finished castle.  Going to take a while i would think ,maybe not so long as the first attempt as you will be on familiar ground this time.
Good luck with it.:thumbs

Good luck with the new project Robyn. I look forward to seeing your progress reports.
Most of us have 'swung the axe' at some time in our modelling career, I know I have. We all strive for the highest level we can achieve and when something is not quite right it will always be a point or irritation until it's sorted.

Hi Reg,
You are right about the second time being easier, I have all the drawings for the first model and it didn't take long to get to the stage I am now. The research and creating the drawings took up so much more of my time than the actual building of the model. The other factor was creating pieces with a little modeller's licence and then finding a photo that showed that my "licence" was well and truly expired, of course this meant that the offending pieces needed to be redone. In retrospect I should have done the research thoroughly first and then made the model....but then....I am such an impatient thing!
