Rothley station on the Great Central Railway. It is apparently a standard design but is a station plan that works really well in real life - as long as you have an overbridge to provide public access. The station has been restored to represent how it would have been in 1912. © David Meaden ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No space was wasted in the design. The area below stairs was divided into a couple of rooms. At Rothley one is labelled for porters use and the other is laid out as a parcels office. ![]() |
