Pembrokeshire Model Railway Club's Weston Road layout, which is very loosely based upon Clarbeston Road station.

Yes - where are the rest of the pics ?

Seems an odd arrangement with semaphore signals and portakabin type buildings .................:roll:

A nice scene nevertheless. :cheers

Thanks Mike !

The first time I looked you only had one pic. In the last 50 odd minutes magically more appeared ! Not a bad little layout and I do like the buildings. The pic of the old man walking down the path is a nice little cameo.

Cheers, Gary.

Hi Gary

I was learning how to add photos to the post. Found the easiest way was to add to my gallery and post from there. Hence the stuttering posting of pics! It was Weston Road's first outing to an exhibition and a learning curve in both building and exhibiting for all involved. But I understand from the operators that it was well received and performed fine most of the time. There was always something running whenever I was viewing it.
As for the buildings, well this forum's very own Gastwo was responsible for some of them, and very nice they are as well.

C'mon now Shaun, I wouldn't be that embarassed () with those buildings. They do look rather good. Great job. :doublethumb

Now if I send you a list of what I would like...

Cheers, Gary.

The layout tries to bring together some of the railway scene in West Wales in the 2000's ,the signal box is that from Whitland which is part semaphore part colour lights the colour light are all out of sight semaphores look so much better the cabins are from Clarbeston Road and other buildings from around the county.

Thought it only right you should see Weston Road and its creator Ron (ronrail):

Ron on the right of the picture above.
This was just after 10 in the morning, before the crowds arrived. When I left at 11 I counted over 100 cars parked in the field next to the venue - and no other reason for parking there except to visit the exhibition. Well done to the organisers.

Pictured below is another shot of Weston Road with Dave and Ron:

(I'd like to add that the only building I can claim credit for is the white cottage - the others were built by Ron and other members of the Haverfordwest club)

Many thanks for the kind words Shaun but we must credit you with the scenery on the two centre boards which you did when you were down with us.
