Thanks, Phil. My wife is already wondering what i am doing with her hairspray, used teabags and dish washing detergent so using the salt will only add to my mystique.

thank you for the offer about the Buddleia. I was interested in the pink flowers in the first photo but it looks like they were done the same way as the blue ones?

Evan

The only pink flowers are the tall buddleia, they were made by cutting paint brush bristles to about 3/4" long, then dip  into deluted PVA, put the tip into 4mm of sanded red plastic and cover the rest with Woodland Scenic scatter.

Hi Phil, as promised I've had a look at restoring Images to Pen Y Bryn  and the results are as  follows :-

Post 1 to 185 as I feared all lmages have been deleted from Photobucket by yourself so I'm unable to recover them

Post 186 to 281 are mostly deleted as well but I've managed to recover SOME that you hadn't deleted

Post 281 to 1223 (Current) have been fully restored APART FROM 20 images that you had deleted from PB

those 20 Images are in posts :-

612 x 1 Image
637 x 9 Images
653 x 1 Image
658 x 1 image
857 x 2 Images
875 x 2 Images
907 x 1 Image
911 x 1 image
913 x 1 image
927 x 1 Image

so where you and some other members now see This Image anywhere through the thread :-

What is behind it is :-

So you will need to decide what Image you want to put back in these places.

Cheers

Thanks Matt, that's very kind of you...when I get chance I will check the deleted pics and see, first if I can figure out what they were and then, try to find replacements.

No Problem Phil. there is limited Information available on each of the missing Images, I can tell you what the Image was called that was stored in PB but it depends if you can then match that Image to those stored one on your computer

Post 1 Image 1 to 3 were called

 43xxFrontforum4.jpg

43xxSideforum3.jpg

More1.jpg

Which ever browser you are using. . .  right click on the blank/missing Image and then click on  Elements or inspect elements from the drop down menu.
you should see the full http address in amongst the clutter that appears on the right of your screen. The end of the address is usually the Image file name ( I'm sure someone gave this information before earlier in the thread ?)

It appears differently depending on what browser you are using but if you get stuck let me know what browser and I'll point you in the right direction

Once you find the Image name try copying it and then pasting it into the windows search bar at the bottom of  your windows home/start page, this then searches your computer for anything that matches or nearly matches what you have pasted and this may very well find the  Image on your computer depending on how much you edited the original name before uploading it to Photobucket. its worth a try as this can save you trolling through thousands of Images trying to match the name to an Image. shout out if you need a bit more Info, and happy hunting  :)

Cheers

Matt
